Dubai, October 24, 2002 ---- GE Power Systems (GEPS), a major exhibitor at the annual Power-Gen Middle East 2002 conference and exhibition, has unveiled its latest product technology for the region's power industry. GEPS showcased its broad range of energy solutions including models of its F Family of gas turbines, offering high efficiency and reliability.
This week in Abu Dhabi, the Frame 9FB, the world's most advanced air-cooled 50-hertz gas turbine, as well as the Frame 6C, ideal for heat recovery applications, was featured in the company's product offering.

"We are fully committed to bringing the most reliable and cost-effective solutions to our customers throughout the region."
GEPS also featured the company's latest advancements in steam turbine technology including the High Efficiency Advanced Technology (HEATTM) Combined-Cycle Steam Turbine product line.
"The Power-Gen Middle East expo is considered a must-attend for our wide base of customers involved in the operation and maintenance of GE steam and gas turbines, energy management and plant automation systems, and oil & gas equipment," added Bassem P. Fakhry, Field Marketing Development Leader for GE Energy Services, a division of GEPS. The full range of gas compression and turbo-generation products and services for the oil and gas exploration, pipeline and refinery sectors, as well as energy rentals and plant assessment management systems, including software and engineering services for machinery monitoring and diagnostics, were displayed at the exhibition stand.
GE Panametrics, the ultrasonic testing equipment division of GE Power Systems, also highlighted its recently introduced breakthrough technology for process measurement instrumentation.
