FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 19, 2002--General Electric today announced the appointment of three company officers.
Ruben C. Berumen, 45, is President and CEO, Power Controls B.V. at GE Industrial Systems. His previous position was President and CEO of GE Medical Systems OEC and General Manager, Global Vascular and X-Ray. Berumen holds a master's degree in international management from the American School of International Management and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Norman C. T. Liu, 44, is Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations for GE Capital Aviation Services, serving in this role since 1996. Liu earned a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in engineering and economics from Yale University.
Deborah M. Reif, 49, is Chairman, President and CEO of Financial Guaranty Insurance Company at GE Capital. She assumed this position in January 2001. Reif holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut.
