GE Money & Kittle's Furniture Deliver Consumer Financing Program

July 14, 2008

KETTERING, Ohio --- July 14, 2008 --- GE Money and Kittle's Furniture today announced a new multi-year relationship to provide consumer financing services through the home furnishings retailer's 14 Indiana and Ohio stores, including the Indianapolis Ethan Allen location and Thomasville Home Furnishings stores in Dublin and Easton, Ohio.

The Kittle's Furniture card, issued through GE Money's Sales Finance unit, provides homeowners extended terms and special financing promotions with no annual fee. In-store application using GE Money's Internet-based finance management system AdvanceDesksm provides Kittle's Furniture customers an easy, secure way to quickly finance their furniture purchases. Online account management is also available to cardholders.

"We are pleased to team up with GE Money to make furniture more affordable for our customers," said Jim Kittle, chairman of Kittle's Furniture. "GE Money's financing program provides our customers with greater flexibility, more choices, and longer financing options to use when making their purchases."

Whether homeowners want a special accent piece or a complete new home interior, they should identify their own personal style before making a purchase, according to the American Furniture Manufacturers Association. If unsure, homeowners are advised to look at items around them---such as wardrobe, cars, favorite magazines and movies---to see if their preferences lean towards casual, contemporary, country, traditional or eclectic designs.

"Kittle's Furniture cardholders benefit from financing options that help them make their home design dreams come true," said James Seger, vice president of the Home Furnishings industry for GE Money -- Sales Finance. "The program is backed by customized, innovative technology that eases the application and purchasing process and increases a buyer's purchasing power while providing outstanding customer service."
