GE Money announced a multi-year agreement to provide consumer financing for Giant Bicycle, a leading supplier of bikes in the U.S. The GE Money Sport Card, managed by GE Money's Sales Finance unit, provides cyclists with a convenient revolving credit program and special promotions that makes buying a new Giant bike as easy as riding one.

Customers can use the card to purchase Giant Bicycle's line of performance and recreational bicycles, components and accessories at participating Giant dealers nationwide. The application process is fast and simple, and dealers will enjoy complete online financing program management via GE Money's new web-based suite of tools that provide access to all the sales, operational, marketing and training resources they need at the click of a button.

"Bicycling has long been a favored pastime in the U.S., and today's economy makes riding a bike even more appealing," said Elysa Walk, general manager for Giant Bicycle. Additionally, The U.S. Census Bureau reported in its 2007 American Community Survey that more than 650,000 people use a bike as their main vehicle for commuting to work and school.
