GE Money Customers Provided More Payment Convenience by Bank Mandiri

Partnership Will Boost GE Money's Coverage Of ATMs In Indonesia By 30% To Over 15,000

Jakarta, 5 November 2008 -- PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. and PT GE Finance Indonesia (GE Money) announced today a partnership to provide a payment facility for GE Money customers. Effective immediately, GE Money customers who have bank accounts with Bank Mandiri will be able to pay their GE Money bills at all Bank Mandiri ATMs.

With the addition of the facility, GE Money will have coverage of all major banks in Indonesia, and boost its ATM coverage by almost 30% to 15,000 ATMs in Indonesia. GE Money is a leading issuer of credit cards in Indonesia, with flagship cards such as GE Money Shopping Card and GE Money Credit Card. In the area of credit card bill payments, Bank Mandiri currently serves more than 10 most prominent Banks/Financial Institutions in Indonesia.

According to a consumer focus group study done by GE Money over several months in Indonesia, 70% of 1,710 respondents chose ATMs as their preferred mode of payment for credit card bills.
