GE Lighting to share latest trends in roadway lighting at Road Planning, Design & Construction Summit in Doha

Doha, Qatar; March 8, 2012: GE Lighting, an industry leader in lighting solutions for commercial, industrial and residential use, will showcase the latest trends in roadway lighting that are aimed at improving visual conditions, enhancing safety and reducing energy use, through its participation at the second annual Road Planning, Design & Construction Summit to be held from March 11-14, 2012 at the Oryx Rotana in Doha, Qatar.

The roadway lighting solutions that GE Lighting brings to the region can potentially save about 60% of energy use, compared with conventional lighting. GE Lighting has led and partnered on numerous initiatives with authorities around the world to enhance safety and better visual conditions on the road. Through the support and partnership to the event, GE is looking at opportunities to strengthen its partnerships with the concerned authorities in the GCC region by supporting them in their quest for safer, environmental friendly roadways.
