BOSTON-January 30, 2018-GE (NYSE:GE) announced today that it will hold its 2018 Annual Meeting of Shareowners at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at GE Additive’s Customer Experience Center at 101 N. Campus Drive in Imperial, Pennsylvania. GE holds its shareowners meeting in a different city each year to highlight the strength of GE’s businesses in communities around the United States.
GE’s additive facility outside Pittsburgh opened in 2016 to drive additive manufacturing within GE’s industrial operations. In 2017, the site evolved into an externally focused Customer Experience Center, and its 52 high-tech employees now also help current and potential customers across several industries accelerate their own use of additive technology. Customers use the 125,000-square-foot facility for product design, prototyping, and production, leveraging machines from Concept Laser of Germany and Arcam EBM of Sweden - both leading additive providers in which GE has majority ownership.
