- GE Displays Innovation, Workflow Enhancements and Patient-Centric Care Solutions
Dubai, UAE; January 26, 2011: The provider and the patient are at the center of each innovation displayed by GE Healthcare IT at Arab Health 2011, the world's second largest healthcare exhibition currently ongoing at the Dubai International Convention Center.
"GE is driving the vision of One desktop, One patient and One community with a world class multi-disciplinary solutions suite," said Sia Moussavi, General Manager of GE Healthcare IT for Eastern and Africa Growth Markets.
"We're integrating multiple applications on a single desktop and making them accessible through an open, web-based approach. We're aggregating clinical information into a unified single patient view. We're creating a connected community of care providers with local and remote imaging workflows integrated among stakeholders. This integration is important because 18 percent of diagnostic errors are due to incomplete patient data where data can be made available."
