GE Foundation: 13 years of continuous grants to Thai students

Bangkok, May 26, 2011 -- Mr. Pornlert Lattanan (5th right), President and CEO, GE Thailand and Laos, a representative of the GE Foundation, the philanthropic organization of General Electric, recently congratulated seven of the GE Foundation Scholarship-Leaders Program Cohort X grantees, who graduated in academic year 2010. Joining the photo was Mr. Wattanin Potrayanont (4th left), deputy director, Institute of International Education--Southeast Asia.
GE Foundation has continued to grant scholarships to Thai students who have good records both in terms of academia and activities for 13 years in a row. The scholarship is provided to grantees from their second year to last year of study. Presently, there are a total of 102 current and former GE grantees in Thailand. The ceremony was held in Lotus 5-6 room, Centara Grand Hotel, Bangkok.
