GE Extends Olympic Sponsorship Through 2020

FAIRFIELD, Conn.--29 June 2011-- GE (NYSE: GE) today announced an extension of its partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) beginning with the 2014 Games in Sochi, Russia and continuing with the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and through the 2020 Games. GE remains the exclusive provider of a wide range of innovative products, technology and services. GE's Olympic partnership first launched in January 2005 with high tech solutions provided for Torino 2006, Beijing 2008 and Vancouver 2010. GE is also a sponsor of the upcoming London 2012 Olympic Games.
