NORWALK, Conn. -- GE Commercial Finance Corporate Lending today announced the appointment of Kjerstin Barley as senior vice president and industry leader of technology and electronics.
Barley has more than 18 years of experience in the technology and services industries. Most recently she was senior vice president with GE Commercial Finance Media, Communications & Entertainment, responsible for senior secured debt and equity investments in privately held technology companies. Prior to GE, Barley held investment-banking roles in the technology, media and telecommunications practices at Bear Stearns & Co. and JP Morgan. Earlier in her career, Barley held technology-focused roles for Brown Venture Associates, Silicon Graphics, Inc. and Franz Inc.

Barley received her MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and her BA in political economics from the University of California at Berkeley. She is based in San Francisco, CA.
