NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 7, 2005--GE Commercial Finance - Technology Lending, a unit of Global Media & Communications, today announced that it has appointed Kjerstin E. Barley to the position of senior vice president, origination. Based in San Francisco, she will be responsible for developing client relationships within the technology sector and will report to John Kinnaman, managing director, GE Commercial Finance - Technology Lending.
Ms. Barley brings over twelve years of experience in technology and finance, most recently serving as Investment Banking vice president for Bear Stearns & Co. She has also held positions with JP Morgan, Enron Corporation and Brown Venture Associates.

Ms. Barley holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU.
