NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 11, 2005--GE Commercial Finance Global Media & Communications today announced that it has named Scott Webster as senior vice president, origination. He will be responsible for originating and structuring debt transactions for companies in the North American communications sector. Based in Norwalk, Mr. Webster will report to Peter J. Foley, managing director and head of origination, Global Media & Communications.

Mr. Webster has been with GE since 2000. Before taking on his current role, he was a senior vice president and risk/underwriting team leader responsible for a team of 22 underwriters and a portfolio of nearly $2 billion in assets of media and communications companies. Prior to joining GE, Mr. Webster served as vice president, media & telecommunications for MeesPierson Capital Corp. He began his career in 1993 with PNC Bank.

Mr. Webster holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Dayton and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
