NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 2005--GE Commercial Finance Corporate Lending today announced that it has appointed Todd D. Spener as Senior Vice President of Origination. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Mr. Spener will be responsible for originating lending opportunities among corporate customers throughout the states of Missouri and Kansas. He will report to Douglas Vitek, Senior Vice President and Team Leader, Central Region, Corporate Lending.
Mr. Spener most recently served as Managing Director of Carreden Group, a New York City-based specialty investment banking firm handling a broad range of transactions including private placement, exclusive sale, merger and acquisition, structured finance and specialty advisory assignments. Prior to Carreden, he was Vice President and Division Head of Capital Markets Finance for Charter Financial, a specialty finance company affiliated with E. M. Warburg Pincus. Mr. Spener began his career with 10 years of service in various management positions with Bell Atlantic Capital and Bell Atlantic Corporation.
