NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 13, 2005--GE Commercial Finance Corporate Lending today announced that Joe Nemia has been promoted to Senior Managing Director for the Vertical Industries group. In this role, he will lead Corporate Lending's North American efforts in the Restructuring, Retail, Metals, and Automotive sectors.
Mr. Nemia joined GE Capital in 1992. For the past seven years, he has led Corporate Lending's East Region, which during this period has closed over $20 billion in leveraged transactions, including such notable deals as Standard Motors, Blount International, Sotheby's, Quality King, Riddell Sports Group, Bradco Supply and Blue Ridge Paper.
