GE Capital leasing tool enhances sales process for vendor partners

GE Capital's enhanced online leasing tool, iManage leasing, is already adding real value to vendor partners. By making the leasing process quicker and easier than it's ever been, GE Capital is helping the vendors to close deals and grow their business.

LONDON, Wednesday 26th October, 2011: GE Capital's enhanced online leasing tool, iManage leasing, is already adding real value to vendor partners. By making the leasing process quicker and easier than it's ever been, GE Capital is helping the vendors to close deals and grow their business.

iManage recently replaced theWIZ as GE Capital's previous online tool. Based on feedback from vendors, iManage is enhanced to be more user-friendly and to enable partners to quickly and easily gain real-time access to their lease transactions, including instantaneous credit decisions online, and the ability to generate lease quotes and proposals.

One early adopter of iManage is West Midlands-based Business Communication Solutions Ltd, a family-run BT Local Business Unit (LBU) and long-term customer of GE Capital. Brothers Scott Towns and Kevin Dolling set up the company ten years ago and have grown it to become one of BT's leading LBUs. Their expansion has not been without its challenges.

Mr. Towns explains: "Whilst we have built great market share in our region and grown year on year throughout the recession, we are now in a position where we need to improve our efficiency. iManage helps us achieve that in a number of ways. It helps keep track of my leasing portfolio which is vital to ensure repeat business from our customers.

"The e-Signature functionality enables my customers to sign contracts instantly online which means we can send out a purchase order straight away and there are no unnecessary delays due to paperwork. As a business, closing opportunities is of paramount importance.
