E BOURGET, France--GE Aviation today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SR Technics, a leading supplier of technical support and management services for commercial aircraft, engines and components.
The agreement expands the support and maintenance solutions that GE Aviation and SR Technics will offer its mutual commercial aircraft customers.

The agreement expands the support and maintenance solutions in the field of component service which forms the basis to pursue a longer term business partnership between both companies in support of their customers' fleet operations. It also provides the opportunity for GE and SR Technics to explore ways of utilizing the world class capabilities of both organizations to create additional, mutually-beneficial services that are value-driven and focus on the through-life care of their customers' aircraft.
The agreement is with the Systems division of GE Aviation, formerly Smiths Aerospace.
