Bangkok, May 4th, 2011 -- Mr. Tom Wygle (3rd from right), Vice President, Asia-Pacific, GE Aviation, presents a special commemorative GE90 fan blade to Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand (3rd from left), President, Thai Airways International, on the occasion of GE's official recognition of Thai Airways International's leasing of eight GE90-115B-powered Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The uniquely designed GE90 fan blade is the only composite fan blade to be in commercial aviation service, and it has received many design awards as well as being showcased in New York's Museum of Modern Art.
