GE Appoints Two New Company Officers

FAIRFIELD, Conn.--()--GE today announces the appointment of two new company officers. GE currently has 196 officers globally who lead large revenue generating businesses or are in critical functional roles, helping to drive growth.

Below are the details of the new officers:

Larry Biagini, 53, has been appointed as a GE Company Officer. In this role, he reports to Charlene Begley, President & CEO, GE Home & Business Solutions. Larry has over 20 years of IT experience at GE, having held positions in GE Capital, GE Aviation and GE Corporate. In 1998, he was named Chief Technology Officer of GE, responsible for driving the technology direction across the enterprise. In 2001, he assumed responsibility as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for GE Corporate, where he led Company-wide applications, shared technology services, security, acquisitions and divestitures. In 2005, Larry became CIO of GE Money and was later named CIO at GE Capital. He assumed his current role as GE's IT Security & Compliance Officer in 2010.

Prior to joining GE, Larry was a senior programmer/analyst at Olin Chemical and served as manager of International Systems at Emery Air Freight.

He is a graduate of Fairfield University.

Anne Lynch, 43, has been appointed as a GE Company Officer. In this role, Anne reports to Tom Gentile, Senior Vice President & CEO, GE Healthcare Systems. Anne has more than 21 years of experience in GE finance, including positions in GE Aviation, GE Plastics, GE Water, GE Corporate and most recently, GE Healthcare. Anne is the CFO of GE Healthcare's Life Sciences business. Within Life Sciences, Anne has been instrumental in driving the execution of organic & inorganic growth, portfolio realignment and leveraging global cost.

Anne has a bachelor degree in Finance from Xavier University, Cincinnati, OH. She is a graduate of GE's Financial Management (FMP) and Experienced Financial Leadership (EFLP) Programs.
