GE Appoints Three Company Officers

FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 18, 2005--GE today announces the appointment of three new Company officers.

Sharon R. Daley, 43, is Vice President, Human Resources, GE Infrastructure, Energy. Prior to this role, Daley was Senior Human Resources Manager for GE Global Research, based in Niskayuna, New York. Daley was Organization & Staffing Manager for GE Infrastructure, Energy in 1999 and Senior Human Resources Manager for Industrial Controls Systems in 1997, which is now part of GE Consumer & Industrial. Daley graduated from GE's Human Resources Leadership Program in 1986.

Daley graduated from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1983 with a B.S. in Industrial & Labor Relations.

Bradley D. Mottier, 48, is Vice President, Engine Services, GE Infrastructure, Aircraft Engines. In this role, Mottier drives the strategic direction of the Services platform within GE's aircraft engines business. Mottier began his career at GE as President of Unison Industries, a business acquired by GE in 2002. Before GE, Mottier was Executive Vice President of Unison Industries.

Mottier received a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago in 1989, a Master of Science Degree in Engineering in 1981 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in 1979 from the University of Illinois.

Dennis M. Murray, 48, is Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, GE Infrastructure, Water & Process Technologies. Prior to this role, he was Chief Financial Officer for GE Infrastructure. Before that, Murray was General Manager, Business Operations & Integration and Finance Manager, GE Infrastructure, Aircraft Engines, roles he held from June 1997 to November 2000.

Murray received his Masters Degree in Finance from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and his Bachelors Degree in Economics/Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
