GE Appoints Ten Company Officers

FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GE today announces the appointment of ten new company officers. GE currently has 193 GE officers globally. GE officers lead large revenue generating businesses or are in critical functional roles, helping to drive growth.

Below is the list of GE's ten new officers:

David J. Bilas, 50, is vice president, Appliance Sales for GE Consumer & Industrial and has been with GE for more than 13 years. He has held a number of sales leadership roles with Consumer & Industrial and GE's Appliances business including general manager, Retail Sales and general manager, Retail National Accounts and Sales Service Management.

Alec Burger, 43, is vice president, North America Lending -- Real Estate, a business within GE Commercial Finance. Burger has been with GE for over 16 years and has held numerous roles across GE Commercial Finance. Prior to his current role, he was managing director of the UK for GE Real Estate in Europe, SVP, Business Development at Real Estate and the Quality leader at GE Capital Solutions. Burger obtained his Masters degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, CT with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering.

Kristi Colburn, 44, is vice president, Capital Markets -- Corporate Financial Services (CFS), a business within GE Commercial Finance. Prior to this she held a number of Capital Markets leadership roles at GE Commercial Finance including business leader, Securitization, and Chief Risk Officer. Kristi graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY in 1985 with a Bachelors degree in Management. Kristi has been with GE for over 12 years.

Mohammad Enteshami, 51, is vice president, Engineering -- Oil & Gas, a business within GE Infrastructure. Mohammad has been with GE for over 22 years and has held several leadership roles within GE Infrastructure including general manager, Rotating Parts Center of Excellence at Aviation and manager, Combustor Design Engineering also at Aviation. Mohammad earned his B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University in Norwalk, VA. He also obtained a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

John Ferrie, 60, is president, Systems, a division of GE Aviation, a business within GE Infrastructure. John recently joined GE through the Smiths Aerospace acquisition. Prior to joining GE, he was an executive main board director of Smiths Group plc. and held several leadership roles within Rolls Royce plc. including executive vice president, Allison Engine Company and managing director, Military Aero Engines. John obtained his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Strathclyde University in the United Kingdom and his Doctorate in Engineering from Warwick University also in the UK.

Sharon Garavel, 44, is vice president, Global Operations & Quality -- GE Capital Solutions, a business within GE Commercial Finance. Sharon has been with GE for over 18 years and has held numerous leadership roles throughout GE Commercial Finance including Quality leader, senior vice president, Diversified Vendor Finance, manager of Finance and Risk manager. She earned a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance from Bryant College in Smithfield, RI.

Mark Hutchinson, 47, is vice president, GE Real Estate -- Asia, a business within GE Commercial Finance. Prior to this he held several leadership roles including president of GE Real Estate -- Asia Pacific, head of Capital Markets at GE Capital Solutions and managing director of the Commercial Finance Capital Markets group in Europe and Asia. Mark obtained his Bachelors degree in Commerce from the University of Queensland in Australia. He has been with GE for over 13 years.

Paula A. Madison, 54, is executive vice president, Diversity at NBC Universal. During her 17-year career at GE, Paula served as the vice president and news director at WNBC. She was also president and general manager of KNBC and Los Angeles regional general manager of the NBC Telemundo TV stations. Paula obtained her Bachelors degree in History and Black Studies from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Marcelo Mosci, 49, is president & CEO, GE Latin America. He had held numerous leadership roles within GE Healthcare and GE Infrastructure including general manager, Global X-Ray -- Americas and general manager, Latin America at GE Healthcare. At GE Infrastructure, he managed the Global Sourcing team at the Transportation business and prior to that was the operations director, South America also at GE Infrastructure's Transportation business. Marcelo graduated from Universidade Catolica De Belo Horizonte in Brazil with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering.

Jerry A. Rose, 48, is vice president, product management leader -- GE Security, a business within GE Industrial. In his 23 years at GE, Jerry has held several leadership roles at GE Industrial including general manager, Global Lighting at Consumer & Industrial, product general manager, Refrigeration at Consumer Products and general manager, Dishwasher & Laundry at Appliances. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Business Management at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
