GE Appoints Five Company Officers

FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GE today announces the appointment of five new company officers.

William J. Brasser, 51 is Vice President & Chief Risk Officer, Capital Solutions, GE Commercial Finance. A 26-year GE veteran, Brasser has been Chief Risk Officer for Capital Solutions since 2005. From 2000 to 2005, he was General Manager of Corporate Lending, Corporate Financial Services. In 1996, he was Managing Director for the West Region of Corporate Financial Services within GE Commercial Finance. A 1980 graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada, Mr. Brasser holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Terri S. Bresenham, 46, is Vice President, Global Diagnostic Ultrasound, GE Healthcare. She has been the general manager of GE's Global Diagnostic Ultrasound business since 2004. A 16-year GE veteran, Bresenham was named General Manager of GE's Lunar business in 2000. She was the Operations Manager for GE Healthcare's Global PET from 1999 to 2000. Bresenham received her Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas in 1988 and her Bachelors degree in Medical Technology from the University of Tennessee in 1983.

Michael E. Chen, 44, is President & CEO, Global Media & Communications, Corporate Financial Services, GE Commercial Finance. Most recently, Chen was General Manager for Global Airports & U.S. Aviation within GE's Aviation Financial Services business (GECAS). Previously, Chen was managing director, Sales, North America for GECAS. Prior to joining GE in 1994, he was at IBM for nine years working in risk management, finance, treasury, marketing, and product management. Chen holds a MBA in Finance from Cornell University and a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester.

Jayne L. Day, 52, is Vice President & Chief Risk Officer, Real Estate, GE Commercial Finance. Day has transformed the risk management process at GE Real Estate over the last 13 years. Jayne joined GE in 1991 as finance manager for the Portfolio Acquisition Team. Before joining GE, Day was an Audit Partner with KPMG in New York City. She received her Masters in Accounting from Pace University in 1977 and her Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Marketing from Siena College in 1975.

Kevin F. Nolan, 40, is Vice President, Technology, Consumer & Industrial, GE Industrial. Nolan has been with GE for 17 years and has held a variety of leadership positions within Consumer & Industrial. From 2002 to 2006, he was General Manager of New Product Introduction, leading product development efforts for Lighting, Appliances and Electrical Distribution. Prior to that role, he was the GM of Sourcing for Consumer & Industrial. He received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1989.
