LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 14, 2002--The GE Profile Advantium(TM) oven with Speedcook technology is available in a variety of configurations and voltage options.
GE offers consumers choices that fit their kitchen floor plans and voltage needs, whether installing an Advantium oven above the cooktop or over a free-standing range, over a wall oven or a warming drawer, or by itself, explained Jerry Wolff, Global Products marketing manager for GE Consumer Products.
The GE Profile Advantium(TM) Oven, the original speedcook oven, uses powerful halogen lights to cook oven-quality food in an average of one-fourth the time or up to eight times faster than a conventional oven. It comes in two configurations: a built-in wall oven or an over-the-range, cooktop or countertop oven. These two configurations offer flexibility in planning all styles of kitchens.
By harnessing the power of light, Advantium cooks the outside of food much like conventional radiant heat, but it also penetrates the surface so the inside cooks at the same time.
The original Advantium is easy to use and comes preprogrammed with 100 of America's favorite foods. In addition, consumers can customize and store their own recipes.
This original Advantium requires 220-volt installation and will cook a dinner of golden roasted chicken breasts, baked potatoes and chewy, chocolate chip cookies, browned top and bottom, in less than a half hour.
The GE Profile Advantium over the range model has an estimated retail price ranging from $1,299 to $1,499. The Advantium wall oven has an estimated retail price ranging from $1,699 to $1,899.
From the company that created the speedcook category, the GE Profile Advantium(TM) 120 Oven cooks great-tasting food amazingly fast, up to four times faster than a traditional oven.
By harnessing the power of halogen light, the Advantium 120 cooks flavorful and oven quality food remarkably fast, with no preheating. Designed for speed and simplicity of use, the Advantium 120 oven comes preprogrammed with over a hundred popular recipes.
The program menu is flexible, allowing you to add your own favorite recipes into the memory program. Just mount the oven over a counter, range or cooktop and plug it into any standard 120-volt power outlet.
The Advantium 120 allows consumers the convenience of a 120-volt installation while providing a wide spectrum of cooking power. The perfect combination of speed and versatility, the Advantium 120 oven offers four cooking modes including speedcook, traditional oven, microwave and warming capabilities.
The Advantium 120 has an estimated retail price ranging from $739 to $899.
