Sears Home Services Honors GE Appliance Parts Division for Parts Availability, On-Time Shipments and Responsiveness
(NYSE:GE) ---Among competitors, Sears' employees rank GE in top 1 percent.
This July, GE became the first parts supplier to receive the Sears Partners in Progress award four years in a row and scored the highest marks in GE's history of earning the honor. The program recognizes the best performers in Sears' vendor/supplier community.
"We have taken this award where no other supplier has been before," says Karen Lindquist, GE Parts national account manager for Sears, "since GE is the first Sears parts supplier to have four consecutive wins under its belt."
The GE Appliance Parts win comes as a result of high parts availability, on-time shipments, and the responsiveness of the GE sales and IT teams. GE's Appliance Parts Distribution team hit a high note with record fill rates and lead times. Sears Partners in Progress winners were selected from nominations submitted by Sears' employees who purchase goods and services for the company.
GE Appliance Parts, Sears' third-largest parts supplier, sells repair parts and accessories for all product lines.
