August 2004 - GE Infrastructure's GE Fanuc Automation Division in South Africa Upcoming Technology Conferences

August 01, 2004

With the current demands placed on engineers and managers to drive greater production and improve efficiencies, the pressures of the plant don't readily afford much time away, for staff to learn new technologies that could assist them in achieving their manufacturing demands.

GE Fanuc Automation, a division of the GE Infrastructure global business platform, is hosting conferences in four South African cities to introduce engineers and managers to new technology that was designed specifically to help them.

The conference consists of 9 lectures presented by overseas experts, that discuss topics such as:

  • transforming manufacturing data into plant intelligence;
  • using efficiency, quality and production data to drive manufacturing improvements;
  • the benefits of implementing change management systems;
  • and critical control systems for the process industry.

Managers, Engineers, and Quality and Production staff are welcome to attend without charge by confirming their attendance via fax to 031-5832626 or email to [email protected] . The dates of the conferences are as follows:

  • 27 September, Port Elizabeth, Port Elizabeth Technikon
