Faisal is a Senior Managing Director of Licensing at GE. He is based in Niskayuna, NY and joined the team in 2011.
Faisal leads a team that commercializes GE’s intellectual property across several of its business units, including GE Aviation, GE Healthcare, GE’s Global Research, and parts of GE Corporate. His team has expertise in domains ranging from healthcare, materials, manufacturing, electronics, software, with assets and offerings ranging from patents, code, copyrights and technology transfer supports. Faisal and his team holds multiple board seats and supports new companies based on GE technologies.
Prior to joining Licensing, Faisal held various leadership positions within GE in developing and running new GE product lines and ventures.
He earned his PhD from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and his bachelor’s degree from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
