On Saturday, 15 October, approximately 80 General Electric ("GE") employees and members of the GE Women's Network donned pink tee shirts and participated in the "Healthymagination Walk" from Westin Hotel to Lot 10, along Jalan Bukit Bintang. The walk was done to promote breast cancer awareness and saw GE employees distributing educational brochures on breast cancer prevention and screenings to members of the public. This is part of GE's efforts in fighting breast cancer through raising awareness and ensuring public education.

GE held the first part of its annual GE Women's Network Summit on Friday at the Westin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur as part of its commitment to supporting the empowerment of women in Malaysia. Day two of the summit took place on Saturday, 15 October, mentioned above, where activities were organized in association with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia ("BCWA") to raise awareness for breast cancer in conjunction with "Pink October".
