The products will be distributed in China. The value of the contract is estimated to be $500,000 (4,107,000 SEK) and is one of the largest orders the company has booked for portable testing equipment. This order is significant for us in several ways, stated Jim Robertson, general manager for the Network Reliability Services business, based in Atlanta, Georgia. China is a key market for GE, and this order will help raise our visibility in this region as a portable testing equipment supplier. Also, because it is one of the largest orders we have received for this type of equipment, it shows the commitment of our distributor in supplying proven GE systems that will be highly valued by the end customer.

GE Power Systems will be supplying the customer primarily with Sverker(TM) relay test units, MOM(TM) microhmmeters and Freja(TM) relay testing systems that will be used to meet the increasing demand for these types of products in the China region.
