New MX150 & MX250 Controls Offer Expanded Feature Set
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (December 9, 2003) --- The Zenith Controls products team of GE Industrial Systems and the General Electric Company (NYSE: GE), has announced the availability of new automatic transfer switch controllers which offer expanded and advanced features to users.
The MX150 and MX250 will replace the time-tested MX100 and MX200, offering customers increased processing power, added standard features, and greater flexibility.
"With great enhancements in processor capability and user interface, these new GE transfer switch controllers bring additional benefits to an existing product line at no additional cost," said Adam Tschetter, product manager for Zenith Controls transfer switches.
Several of the many product enhancements include Auto/Manual control via Soft Key, user-selectable choice of Exerciser repeat cycle, event logging with date-time stamp, and statistical analysis of switch functions. The MX250 offers vast improvements for operating in the closed transition mode. (change from passive to more direct language)
Designed with the user in mind, the MX150 and MX250 offer the same field-proven quality of their predecessors. An intuitive, internationally-accepted one-line schematic diagram better enables the end user to rapidly assess the status of an automatic transfer switch. Improved software upgrades allow password protection while giving operators the ease to quickly make program changes.
