Jessica is a Director of Investments. Based in Boston, MA, she joined GE Ventures in 2017.
She focuses on early to late-stage investments across healthcare IT, healthtech, and healthcare services.
Before joining GE Ventures, Jessica was Principal at Lemhi Ventures, a fund investing exclusively in healthcare services and healthcare IT with over $330 million under management. At Lemhi, Jessica developed investment hypotheses, sourced deals, ran diligence processes, and served on multiple boards. Prior to Lemhi, Jessica worked on forming and spinning out companies based on university intellectual property at the University of Minnesota and Oregon Health & Science University.
Her career began with writing software for a startup healthcare delivery company. From there, she moved to merchant bank, Greenspring Advisors, where she wrote numerous business plans and evaluated, launched, and invested in data-driven healthcare startup companies.
Jessica holds a PhD and master’s degree from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She completed her MBA at Regis University with a focus on healthcare administration and received her bachelor’s degree with honors from Stanford University.
Jessica was named to Rock Health’s Top 50 in Digital Health list, is a startup judge and panelist for multiple healthcare conferences, and volunteers as a Stanford Associate.
Jessica is on the Board of Directors for Arcadia and Apervita, and serves as an Observer for CareMerge and Ornim. She previously served on the boards of PokitDok, PlanSource, One Health, Orasi Medical, and Medication Management Solutions.
