    Disruption. This year at the show, new players who might be deemed leftfield took centre stage. Google and Facebook both sponsored the event and delivered keynotes. This signals that the automotive industry continues to be in a dynamic period of change. That change was noticeable by the absence of more traditional players, including some large OEMs. In their place, start-ups, scale-ups and new innovator from across the globe, in particular China were all welcome.
