Continuously evolving technology

The first Gigatop 2-pole generator was developed in the 1970s and has improved continuously ever since, based on operating experience feedback.

Efficient and flexible

The cooling system sustains a high level of efficiency. Its unique press plate provides higher reactive power and stabilization in case of grid disturbance.

Configured to reduce lifecycle maintenance

No cleaning of stator bar hollow conductors made of stainless steel, no water box leaks to repair, no O-rings replacement between water chambers and Teflon hoses, no wedge replacement but retightening of existing wedges.
