Rick Arthur is Senior Principal Engineer for GE Research Digital Technologies, focusing on Advanced Computational Methods Research and its application to Digital Engineering. This involves pathfinding of novel computing hardware and software architectures and connecting these with industrial application opportunities. Rick represents GE on several government and professional community advisory councils.
Rodrigo Lopez Negrete obtained his BS and MSc from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He obtained his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA in 2011. All his degrees are in chemical engineering, specializing in process systems engineering, nonlinear programming, and controls.
Marissa Brennan is an Edison Engineer at GE Research that specializes in creating new materials and material processing capabilities. Dr. Saikat Ray Majumder is a lead scientist at GE Research. Saikat’s research interests are broadly in the confluence of physical-digital systems. Since joining GE in 2011 he has contributed in several technical and leadership roles to various projects, from risk quantification for large credit portfolios to reliability estimation and life predictions for aircraft engine modules to developing process monitoring algorithms for advanced manufacturing technologies such as Additive Manufacturing.
Dr. Mingye Wu is a Senior Scientist in the Radiation Imaging Lab at GE Research, Niskayuna, NY. Mingye has deep expertise in X-ray physics modeling and CT system correction algorithms. He is a key developer and administrator of CatSim -- GE's simulation toolkit for CT imaging for biomedical and industrial inspection. His main areas of focus include image quality improvement, radiation dose reduction, and protocol optimization.
