At GE Research, our teams are working on technologies to make metal additive manufacturing faster, more reliable, and more pervasive in manufacturing. To test, iterate and bring designs and new functionality forward, we have a unique landscape of additive manufacturing research facilities and capabilities, including:

• 25,000 square feet of dedicated laboratory space
• Laser based powder bed commercial and experimental systems
• Electron based powder bed commercial and experimental systems
• Binder jet commercial and experimental systems
• Powder handling and cleaning facilities
• Post-processing equipment including heat treatment, sintering, and full-service machining
