Zhanpan is a Statistician at GE Research, and he has years of research and application experience in Statistical and Machine Learning, Reliability Analysis, and Biostatistics.

Zhanpan has been involved with statistical modeling and data mining efforts for GE Renewable Energy, GE Healthcare, Baker Hughes GE, and GE Capital. For the financial service industry, Zhanpan demonstrated the use of both business and economic data to provide predictive analytics to forecast the potential growth of industry and economy. Over the last few years Zhanpan has been involved in renewable energy analytics with broad applications such as development of wind turbine performance digital twin, wind energy forecasting, wind turbine Bayesian power curve, robust statistical models for wind turbine upgrades, reliability analysis and life tests, diagnostic and prognostic analytics for operation quality, etc. Zhanpan has publications on various aspects such as data depth based uni-clustering, data depth based multi-dimensional clustering, and spatial clustering technique.
