Xia Li has experience in computer vision, medical image analysis, machine learning, statistical data analysis, and artificial intelligence. She has worked on multi-modality data analysis (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, histology, etc.) on multiple tissues and diseases (breast cancer, prostate cancer, brain and cardiac diseases, etc.) Her contribution includes around 40 peer-reviewed journal papers, more than 50 scientific proceeding papers, and 2 book chapters. As a Lead Scientist in the AI Computer Vision lab at GE Global Research Center, she is currently focusing on developing a system for accurate 3D object modeling from satellite imagery using AI. She is also collaborating with GE Healthcare for multi-modal medical image segmentation, registration, and analysis.
