Weizhong Yan


Dr. Weizhong Yan is a Principal Scientist in the AI & Machine Learning Discipline at GE Research in Niskayuna, NY. He has expertise in Prognostics & Health Management (PHM) and industrial predictive analytics. His research interests include deep learning, neural networks, ensemble learning, feature engineering, and time-series forecasting.  He has authored over 80 publications in refereed journals and conference proceedings and has filed over 50 US patents. He was an Adjunct Professor of RPI from 2004 to 2008. He is an Editor of International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and an Associate Editor of International Journal of Prognostics & Health Management. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a registered Professional  Engineer (PE) in the states of Massachusetts and New York.
