
Viktor Holovashchenko
Viktor Holovashchenko is a Senior Software Architect with the Robotics team at GE Reseach, where he is working on architecture and engineering of software-intensive robotics and other autonomous systems while coaching the team on the best practices in software architecture, engineering as well as agile way of working.
Most recently, Viktor has been leading the design and development of all software aspects of autonomous on-wing inspection & repair family of projects for multiple GE businesses while bringing them closer to the product stage as never before. Additionally, part of Viktor’s focus has been the architecture and implementation of development tools and best practices for advanced robotics software platform. Prior to joining GE, technical leadership in developing software platforms for enterprise-class products have been the primary focus of Viktor’s experience including multi-tier cloud, data management, integration and mobile software platforms.
Viktor holds Masters degree in Applied Mathematics from Lviv National University (Ukraine) and MBA degree from SUNY Empire State College. He also earned multiple professional certifications in software architecture, software engineering and Agile practices. Viktor holds seven patents as well as he co-authored several papers in the area of expert systems
Viktor lives in Clifton Park, NY with his wife (Nataliya), two children, and cat (Murko that translates as “a cat who purrs” from Ukrainian!). Viktor is active member of local Ukrainian community and he has been leading Ukrainian school for several years. He recently discovered the beauty of kayaking through lakes of breathtaking Adirondack region.

Viktor lives in Clifton Park, NY with his wife (Nataliya), two children, and cat (Murko that translates as “a cat who purrs” from Ukrainian!).
