Dr. Todd Danko is a Principal Roboticist at GE Research in Niskayuna, NY. At GE, Todd has been building a family of robotic systems that perform inspection and maintenance tasks from the inside of industrial equipment such as gas turbines and aircraft engines, minimizing the need for equipment disassembly.
Prior to joining GE, Todd worked at Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Technology Labs in Cherry Hill, NJ where he served as the Principal Investigator for Team TROOPER during the DARPA Robotics Challenge.
In his free time, Todd is an avid skier and serves as a patroller at several local mountains. In the summer, Todd enjoys biking and hiking while avoiding home projects.
