Mike is an Edison Engineer in the Controls & Optimization organization at GE Research. He joined GE as a graduate research intern in 2016 in the Power Systems lab where he worked on microgrid energy optimization strategies.
In his current rotation, Mike develops embedded hardware and software solutions to problems in the Renewables and Aviation spaces. More specifically, he is creating a software-defined/hardware-agnostic onshore wind control system to better position GE in the controller hardware market. Mike is also engineering an automated landing solution for GE Aviation Systems' fixed wing autopilot.
