Andy has been designing software systems and leading engineering teams in quality execution for three decades. Having worked in varied industries inside and outside GE including power generation, commercial aviation, e-commerce, publishing, and healthcare, Andy brings a depth of experience in applying and/or inventing software products which solve real business problems. He is currently studying ways to author and visualize software for event-oriented systems running across distributed and heterogenous computes.
Andy received his MS in Computer Science from the University of Delaware and his BS in Computer Science from the University at Albany, where he now also serves as a part-time instructor.
Every day I see these three little words written on the elevator wall here at GE Research - "See, Move, Create." These words inspire me to do my daily best to see the opportunity, to mobilize to capitalize, and to help create a better tomorrow.
Andy enjoys playing music, mile-long swims, and spending time with his wife and sons. Andy is proud to be a 3rd generation GE employee.
