- STRONG GROWTH:
Introduced the variably rated 2.2 MW to 2.5 MW onshore wind turbine with a 127-meter rotor in North America that has secured 2.9 GW of commitments.
- INTERNATIONAL GROWTH:
Selected to provide 144 of GE’s 2.5-116 turbines for ENGIE’s new 360 MW wind farm in Brazil.
- PARTNERING WITH CUSTOMERS:
GE Renewable Energy and Fina Enerji signed an agreement to work on eight potential projects providing up to 410 MW by end of 2020.

Modernization of eight units at the Ilha Solteira and Jupiá hydropower plants (four units each) operated by CTG. Scope includes modernization of existing machines and new equipment.
- REHABILITATION WIN:
Won contract to refurbish 16 propeller runners of 67 MW each at the RH Saunders generating station in Ontario, Canada.
- TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION:
GE Renewable Energy announced that it will invest more than $400M to develop Haliade-X, the first 12 MW offshore wind turbine in the world.
- PROGRESS IN CHINA:
Installation of the three Xinghua Gulf demo project units completed. GE is now the only offshore wind turbine supplier to have turbines in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
- MERKUR ON TRACK:
Successful installation of the first GE Haliade 150-6MW offshore wind turbine as part of the Merkur offshore windfarm that will power parts of Northern Germany.
LM Wind Power
- SUPPORTING GE GROWTH:
Transported the first blades from LM Wind Power’s Bergama, Turkey facility to Australia to power GE turbines.
- CUSTOMER SATISFACTION:
Won the 2017 Technical Support Award at Goldwind’s ninth-annual supplier conference in Beijing, China.
