APM alert is triggered for a substation transformer maintenance. A ServiceMax maintenance job is automatically created to dispatch a tech/crew to the substation to perform the required maintenance task. ServiceMax software schedules and auto-dispatches the right technicians with the right skills and certification, and the necessary parts at the location. Field technician uses mobile device to acknowledge workflow, visually inspect the alert on the device, and run a network trace to check power flow in-and-out of the substation. Once the task is performed, the APM alert is deactivated in the back office.
