How the MicroNet Plus controller for gas turbines gets you there
- This upgrade is the latest evolution of the MicroNet* control system that has been developed for aero LM product lines.
- The system interfaces with your existing field devices and on-engine hardware, providing core fuel control, package sequencing, and protection.
- The MicroNet* Plus control system provides high-speed closed loop control, system sequencing, auxiliary-system control, and monitoring/alarming.
The “Plus” features a series of enhancements/upgrades:
- Single or redundant control system configuration (dual power supplies, dual CPUs) to provide high availability
- Synchronized memory—helps ensure that both CPUs use the same operating information in every rate group, 1 ms transfer
- Online reparability
- Real-time network
