WHEN YOU NEED POWER, FAST
GE can provide you with emergency power delivery, installation and production, no matter where you are in the world. How? It’s what we call fast power.
Whether you need power in 10 days or 10 months, we offer solutions ranging from our trailer-mounted compact power plant on wheels to a larger block of power like the 9E gas turbine.
Our modular power generation offerings can save you valuable construction and lead time as well as capital expenditures. We can deliver your temporary power units faster, install them faster, commission them faster, and can even ramp them up faster. With the ability to go from cold iron to full power in as little as five minutes, our mobile gas turbine, the TM2500, along with our aeroderivative and heavy-duty gas turbines, can rapidly enable power generation in response to sudden demands.
Whether it’s Egypt’s desert climate demanding the need for additional power in the summer, or Greece’s 2 million tourists taxing their power system, GE can provide immediate power solutions to fit your power demands in an emergency.

If you need temporary power generation within 11 weeks, the trailer-mounted TM2500 aeroderivative mobile gas turbine is right for you. You can receive up to 35MW of power potential per unit, and the portable TM2500 gas turbine can be transported anywhere by land, air, or sea. This mobile gas turbine power plant also runs with many fuel sources, protecting against fuel supply disruptions, price volatility, and fuel adulteration. These modular power generating units can come pre-packaged, providing you with a turnkey design, saving you valuable construction and lead-time, as well as capital expenditures.
Once they’re installed, our gas turbine power units ramp up within 15 minutes, getting you the power production you need quickly.
But even though we get things done quickly, we can offer a partnership that doesn’t stop after your turbine starts up for the first time. Our services include, but aren’t limited to:
- On-call technical advisory services
- Maintenance planning and training
- On-site hot section, combustor, and other modular exchanges
- Depot repair services for scheduled overhauls and unscheduled repairs
- Performance testing
Quickly meet your growing grid capacity.
If your electricity demand is outpacing your current capability, we can help you capitalize on your growing needs by helping you with fast-track power. We can dispatch our larger-megawatt gas turbines, and get you up and running in around 6-9 months.
In addition to fast delivery, we also shortened our installation and commissioning times. Our modular packaging and AdvantEDGE Power Island offerings are just two examples of how we’ve built speed and efficiency right into our products. See how we broke records in Egypt.
GE can deliver permanent power solutions in 6-9 months. Our project in Tunisia is just one example. We’ll be providing a turnkey power plant project for Tunisian Electricity and Gas Company with two 9E.03 heavy-duty gas turbines, electrical balance of plant and service.Read more about Tunisia
