GE in Poland: From 1 to 10,000
GE began operating in Poland in 1992 with a single employee. Since then we’ve invested $500 million in our Polish businesses and today employ 10,000 talented workers across eight major sites. In addition to offering modern healthcare technologies and manufacturing efficient power control systems, we provide loans and other financial products to both corporate and individual consumers. In Warsaw, our research and development hub, the Engineering Design Center (EDC), employs 1,600 engineers, who cooperate with GE businesses research centers in and outside Poland.
