GE Renewable Energy hails its first onshore wind contract with PowerChina Guizhou Engineering Company in China

  • The Xuanli Qingfeng wind farm will generate 30 MW of clean energy, enough to power more than 40,000 homes in Henan province

China – June 11, 2020 – GE Renewable Energy continues to grow its onshore wind energy business in China with the first contract with Power China Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd to supply 12 units of 2.5-132 low-wind speed turbines for a 30 MW wind farm near Puyang city, China. The order includes a two-year service agreement.

Schenectady, NY, April 22, 2020 - GE Renewable Energy today announced that it has been selected by DIF Capital Partners to provide a 10-year full-service agreement (FSA) for the 183 MW Idaho Wind Partners wind farms near Twin Falls, ID.

The 11 wind farms, which are managed by Longroad Energy, include 122 GE 1.56-82.5 turbines.
