2009년 6월 26일, 코네티컷 페어필드-- GE는 미시간주(州)에 첨단 제조기술 및 소프트웨어센터(The Advanced Manufacturing and Software Technology Center)를 설립한다고 오늘 발표했다. 이 센터는 수년 내 1,100명을 넘는 과학자와 기술자들을 GE 직원으로 고용할 것으로 기대된다.
