Second Intake of Abu Dhabi Engineers Graduate from GE Oil & Gas University in the Middle East

ABU DHABI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES---November 23, 2009---Twenty-three engineers and technicians have graduated from the second Middle East intake of GE's Oil & Gas University Program, an initiative aimed at providing leadership and technology training for oil and gas professionals in Abu Dhabi.

Experts from GE and professional associates covered various aspects of the energy industry during the course, which was specifically designed for employees of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and its group of companies.

중국내 석탄가스화 및 청정석탄기술 촉진을 위한 합작사 설립

2009년 11월 19일, 서울 - GE와 쉔화그룹 (Shenhua Group Corporation)은 17일(중국 베이징 현지시간) 중국 내 청정석탄기술 보급에 중요한 진일보가 될 산업용 석탄가스화(coal gasification) 합작투자사 설립의 기본 틀에 대해 협약을 체결했다고 발표했다. 합작사는 GE의 가스화 및 청정 발전 기술력과 쉔화그룹의 석탄가스화 및 석탄화력발전소 설립과 운영의 전문성을 합쳐 중국 내 청정석탄 기술 솔루션을 크게 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다.  이번 발표는 GE가 중국에서 진행한 '청정기술주간(Clean Technology Week)' 활동의 일환으로 거행되었다.
