~ 本日岩手県に目録を贈呈 ~
日本GE株式会社（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長兼CEO：マーク・ノーボン）は本日、GEの社会貢献組織「GEファンデーション」が岩手県に軽自動車のドクターカー*1「めんこい」を3台寄贈したと発表しました。この寄贈は、GE会長兼CEOのジェフ・イメルトが4月上旬に発表した1,000万ドル相当の復興支援策の一環として行われるもので、軽自動車のドクターカーの導入は岩手県では初となります。
GEでは3月の東日本大震災発生以降、日本における社員を中心とした活動を通じて被災された方々の救済や被災地の復興支援に尽力しており、その過程で被災3県の関係者の方々から要望の高かった被災地における医療の強化策として、岩手県への3台を含む軽自動車のドクターカー「めんこい」11台（岩手県：3台、宮城県：5台、福島県：3台）の寄贈を決定しました。

Calgary, Alberta -- November 1, 2011 -- NRGreen Power and GE today announced plans for a new recovered energy project that will produce power without additional emissions using the first global application of GE's innovative ORegen system. The technology will be installed at Alliance Pipeline's Windfall Compressor Station near Whitecourt, Alberta, to generate electricity through the use of waste heat.
